LIGA Skill Development Academy is a pioneering training academy dedicated to empowering Sri Lankan skilled workers aspiring to build successful careers overseas. From your first phone call to your first day abroad

Six steps. You always know which one you are on.

  1. Inquire & register

    Call, WhatsApp or visit us. You do not need a passport to start.

  2. Profile & assess

    You sit three assessments: aptitude, personality and trade skills.

  3. Enrol & prepare

    Your place is confirmed, your documents are checked, and your training week is arranged.

  4. Train

    One week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, hands-on in your trade.

  5. Get certified

    Pass your assessments and receive a certificate that can be verified.

  6. Get placed

    You are shortlisted and submitted to an overseas employer by our in-house placement agency.

Assessment & certification

Assessed and certified, not just attended

Complete the assessments in Sinhala or English, demonstrate your skills, and earn a valuable certificate upon successful completion.

  • Aptitude

    12 questions · 15 minutes

    A short, timed test of general reasoning and practical thinking. Available in Sinhala and English.

  • Personality

    No time limit

    There are no right answers here and nothing to fail. It builds a picture of how you work, so answer honestly — it helps us match you to the right employer.

  • Trade skills

    8 questions · 20 minutes

    Real site knowledge and safety: working at height, damaged power tools, concrete mixes, reinforcement, striking formwork, tiling preparation, and knowing when to ask for training instead of attempting an untrained task.

Your certificate carries a unique number and a verification QR code, so an employer can confirm it is genuine.
